Facebook politics, as defined by emotive backlash

To recap pop culture American politics, the Democrats are the "I'll have your cake and eat it too, my feelings are more important than anyone's, even a baby's life" party ..... and the Republicans are the quasi-nazi "if I step on your head to get more than you, well, 'all's fair in love and war' - haha (I don't care which you prefer to call it, you're just collateral damage)" group. Damn, whatever happened to "Everything I need to know I learned in Kindergarten?" and while the children are fighting what are the real thinkers doing? sigh.
